Natural reserve of Nyakazu
The reserve of Nyakazu constitutes a picturesque landscape and extraordinary shelters vestiges established by natural vegetation protected since millenniums.
This reserve shelters in particular the fault of Nyakazu.
The history of this fault begins in 1914, at the beginning of the First World War, Nyakazu was a German military post built to control any oriental part of the country.
The plateau of Nkoma on which it was built to have been, as it is said, cut by the boots of the runaway soldiers in front of the Belgian strengths.
